Eligibility Requirements
To apply for Citizenship by Conferral, you must:
Be a permanent resident of Australia
Have lived in Australia for at least 4 years in total, including 1 year as a permanent resident
Be of good character
Pass the Australian Citizenship Test (for applicants aged 18–59)
