New work visa Skills In Demand

The Immigration Department will implement a new work visa, Skills In Demand, on December 7, 2024, to replace the existing TSS employer-sponsored 482 visa.

The new visa is valid for up to 4 years

• A clear path to permanent residency

• Liquidity between guarantee companies

• Work experience requirement reduced to one year

• The existing short-term and medium-term categories of the TSS visa will no longer accept new applications

• A new occupation list called the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL)

The detailed visa content will be announced on December 7th, and Norris Chau Migration & Education will study and share it.
