Partner Visa

Purpose: The Partner Visa allows individuals to live, work, and study in Australia with their partner who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen.

Partner (Migrant) Visa (subclass 100): This visa allows individuals to live in Australia permanently with their partner.

2. Partner (Provisional) Visa (subclass 820) Onshore: This visa allows individuals to live in Australia temporarily while their permanent Partner Visa (subclass 801) application is processed. Partner (Migrant) Visa (subclass 801): This visa allows individuals to live in Australia permanently with their partner.
   

Application Process: The application process involves submitting a detailed application, including evidence of the relationship, personal documents, health examinations, and character assessments.

Processing Time: Processing times for Partner Visa applications can vary, but they typically take several months to over a year, depending on various factors such as the visa subclass, the complexity of the application, and the case officer's workload.

Onshore vs. Offshore Applications: Individuals can apply for a Partner Visa while they are either in Australia (onshore application) or outside Australia (offshore application). The choice depends on individual circumstances and visa eligibility.

Family Members: Dependent family members, such as children, can be included in the Partner Visa application.
